i pretend to be sick, and now i AM sick.
my throat is killing me and if that fever doesn't go off soon i'll probably be sent to the hospital for over-dosing on panadol. i might be over-dosing on lozenges too.

skipped theater studies and drama (tsd) yesterday.
my excuse? i wasn't feeling well.
i mean come on...we just had it on wed! and it's not 1 or 2 periods. it's 4!
and besides, it's just like a normal sac drama session.
except it is less professional.

i mean, come on! the teacher doesn't even know how to do proper vioce and body warm ups!
her voice warm-ups was just to walk around the room and go "ah ah ah ah ah..." you know, the thing that choir does.
and body warm-ups? it was pe warm-ups! wth?
4 years in drama and i've NEVER done such warm-ups.
and maybe i'm used to justin's way of writing scripts. (and beside's he's a pro. he does it for a living.) so i thought their syf script was kinda not up to standard.
i mean shouldn't jcs have better scripts then secondary schools?
oh wells...justin said not all schools have good drama so i'll have to live with it.

my teacher sent me a message through tpjc.net demanding an mc.
wth? fine. so i go to the doctor.
as soon as i stepped into the clinic i started coughing and my throat felt bad.
ok, maybe it's just psychological. the doctor said my throat looked kinda bad and in my mind i was like bullshit.

so i paid 25 buck for my mc and medicine.
thought i had no use for the medicine so i threw them away. BIG MISTAKE.
cuz now i'm freaking sick and i have absolutely no mood to read the papers nor do my GP essay.

i need to read the newspapers! there's a general knowledge competition and i'm one of those representing my class and i wanna win!
i already missed the oratorical thing last monday and i don't wanna miss this this mon!
but if i lost it'd be so embarrassing.

and my gp essay! stupid 500 word essay. on juvenile delinquency.

maybe i should just do hardship and suffering bring out the best in people.

so much has happened in just 3 days...

that's right. sooo much has happened. in 3 days.

subject combinations and our civics group (for the uninitiated, that's what they call our class) kicked in on wednesday.

i'm taking geog, econs and theater studies ad H2 sujects and math as H1. they won't let me take math as H2 and econs as H1 appearently because i failed my amath. what the hell?! people in the science stream fail amath and some didn't even take amath but they're FORCED to take math as H2 even though they don't want to. not fair. i like math! and it's not my fault i had an amath teacher like mr tan who talked rubbish and told suggestive lame jokes every lesson!

so i didn't know a single person from my CV. the 10 min assembly felt like centuries cuz like i said, i knew no one.
but i saw a rainbow that morning and prayed real hard that things will go well.
IT DID :)

i've got a damn cool civics tutor (form teacher) who also happens to be my human geog teacher.
she reminds me of miss adeline lim. hahahaha. i find an uncanny resemblance between them. their sense of humour. she's always in pants. she can't do math. she doesn't like doing all that admin stuff.

that's my human geog teacher. the physical geog tr.......erm..i rest my case.

made new nice cool friends :) many kc girls. they're not as bad as people say they are other then kim who acts cute.

and she rubs her lips with her finger in an "i'm thinking REALLY hard" kinda way in front of the boys.

met a really really cute ang moh guy who also happens to be really nice :)) he got retained in J1.
won't be seeing much of him next week when we officially start a new - and packed - timetable. no more hours of free periods chilling outside the library with the whole big group :(

but anyways...he's out of my league :(

we only had one lecture per day. like on wed my lecture was at 1.10. so the wait was long but fun too! thursday's lecture was the 1st to periods. ended at 9.
and we're not supposed to leave school until 1, but at 9.10 we were already out of school. lol :)
yesterday we left at 11.30 :)

met up with val and sandra on thurs :) I MISS ALL MY LOVELIES!

hung around TM after school with the girlies after school on friday then went back to sac in the afternoon for filming.
we finished in a record time! 18 minutes and god knows how many seconds :)

and i found out something about danielle menon. it needs to be confirmed but if its true, AND I THINK IT IS, she's gonna be number 1 on my ''to bitch about'' list.
annoying.

G8 gathering next friday! i can't wait! or maybe i can...cuz it's teresa's farewell and i don't want her to leave!
and i can't even send her off cuz i've got school!!!!

2nd day in tpjc and i don't quite like it there. and neither does charmine. hahaha:)
the subject combination sucks big time for arts and they wont let me go to science. like what the hell? the aggregate for science is higher than arts which means arts students are better so why the hell wont they let me take a course where even people getting 20 points go?!

the school's being the biggest pain.

wet games tomorrow, during which charmine and i are planning to hide in the toilet :)
i am NOT getting dough, chilli sauce, water, mud, soap and what-have-you all over me all bright and early in the morning and stay gross through the day. ewwww.

i celebrated the new year with ice cream on the god damn plane. i celebrated it twice.

yep...and i celebrated the arrival of christmas 3 times. twice on the plane and once in italy.
yes darrlings. time difference see.

but it really isn't my fault i have tons of pictures! right?
wanted to upload pictures day by day over there but the hotels charge 5 euros ($10) for a measly half an hour.

the plane rides where long and excruciating. but emirates is cool. seats and leg spaces are wider than singapore airlines's.
transit in dubai. duty free's cheap there. and come to think of it, if it's cheap for us, then it'd be damn cheap for the people there considering they're damn rich!

Day 1
arrived in milan, checked into the hotel and head straight to town :)
visited a gothic church, which is special only in milan. but it's not gothic like those in other countries though...it's a mix. and it's huge! and pretty;)
and it is said to house one of the three nails used to nail jesus on the cross.
they take it down every 25 years of something like that to show it to people.

there are churches everywhere. and i tell you, its EVERYWHERE.
small cosy ones, huge ones, but they're all pretty :)

oh...and we went to the most expensive street in italy. a whole long street of pretty banded goods. prada, gucci, LV, cartier and every other brand you can think of.
and along that street there are lots and lots and lots of cool expensive cars.
ferraris and lumboginis just parked on the road side.

Day 2
took a short drive to switzerland because staying in milan was pointless on christmas as all shops were closed. and there's nothing much to do in milan but shop.
so we went to lake lugano, most shops there were closed too, but at lease you see people walking along the lake :)
the trees were pretty, and the lake's really really clear.
actually, all the lakes in italy and switzerland are clear.

in singapore, you see crows and pigeons.
over there, you see pigeons too, but more sea gulls than any other birds:)

oh and we say more cosy chapels in lugano.

drove back to italy, stopped at como, italy on the way back to milan.
stayed at lake como for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
it's a pretty little town. the king you see in movies, but that's not the prettiest yet!
humpf....if only i could put up the pictures.

the cafes there are way cool! small cosy cafes :) if there are not enough seats of if they're in a rush, the local just order a coffee, drink standing by the counter, pay then leave.
it cool.

the expressos there are yummy! and the hot chocolate is like nothing i've every seen.
it's sooooo thick it's practically melted chocolate. i stiil don't know if i like it or not.

Day 3
made our way to venice, but stopped at sirmione (say sir-mi-oh-nee) and verona on the way.
i absolutely LOVE sirmione!!!! i could live there forever and die happy. it's a pretty little town!
it's G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! and even that is an understatement.

that trip to sirmione wasn't planned. our driver just thought we'd like it so he took us there.
it's not a tourist place. there's another magnificent lake with lots of mandrin ducks and swans :)
it's like a place out of the movies! a fairytale!
and there's a castle there :)

it's such a cosy little town!!! i wanna buy a house there overlooking the lake.
there's a church there too:) i love the hourly ringing of the church bells up in that tall tall tower :)
actually, i already spotted my dream home;)

and you actually see golden retrivers playing by the waters and chasing ducks!
ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THAT PLACE!

oh..and the cats there are F-A-T! they put garfield to shame. they don't eat cat food. they eat yummy spaghetti with meat. lol :)

and i had my 1st taste of gelato at sirmione :)

then moving on to verona. its really really pretty too :)
visisted juliet's bacony from romeo and juliet. though i never knew juliet was italian. the story of the balcony's quite a blur though. i never got to find out. why? because stupid tourist were just pushing and pushing and pushing. ugh!

and there were love note on the walls and on the christmas tree to juliet below the balcony.
ha...and i read one that says " dear juliet, please let us find a gorgeous boyfriend." hahaha....it was funny. there were thousands of love notes!

walked around there, and i had my 1st taste of italian donuts :) they are HUGE!!! hahaha...and filled with nutella inside and had chocolate swirls on the outside. YUM!

bought a few necklaces there...those with glass pendents. love em! handmade there but half the price of those in singapore.

ok...i'll stop at day three. i've gotta go enjoy my last day of holiday :)
1st day at tpjc tmr.
and justin just smsed me not too long ago to say that the whole long scene shot in front of the green screen screwed up.
this sucks...it means i'll have to go back to do the whole loooong scene all over again.
see? i didn't even want to do it in front of the green screen anyway.
oh well...we'll try fit my schedule.
